London, yes; I've been there before once. Still there are so many more thing to see than I thought. Together with Sophie, the mother of Daisy, Daisy herself we went to London on Tuesday. I have seen so many things; the London Eye, The Big Bang, the Tower bridge and I even took a picture with a typical telephone box there. It was a very long and exhausting day, since we walked the whole day, but it was very nice to see so many parts of London. Sophie lived in London for quite a while so she knew every part of it and Daisy and I had our own personal tour Guide.
There was one very funny small detail in which you could see another (small!) difference between the UK (or at least London) and Holland. The weather was pretty good so many people bought ice cream. But (for me) the ice cream looked quite peculiar: there something was sticking out of it.
Wondering what is was I asked Daisy 'what's that thing sticking out of the ice cream?'. She looked at me, stunned, asking if I really just asked that. Only a minute later I stood in front of the London Eye with ice cream in my hand. Apparently it was called a 'flake' and it tasted like chocolate. It was, in a way, just a chocolate stick. Anyhow, it tasted amazing. We should introduce this in the Netherlands. (I added a picture)

On Wednesday we visited on of Daisy's friends. Lauren, and there we sculpted pumpkins. This was the most disgusting, though fun, thing I ever did... The smell the came out of the pumpkin luckily became bearable after a while, but at first it was kinda gross. But once you got used to it, is was a very fun thing to do! It is much more difficult than it seems but after all they turned out great! Only Hebe's looked a bit funny since she dropped hers and a part broke of in such a way that it looked like that hers had no eyes..

Thursday we first visited Oxford, again, and I could buy souvenirs for my family. In the afternoon we had lunch at Nando's. This is a chicken restaurant where you can order different kind of dishes from which most of them include chicken, obviously. You too could pick the spiciness and I choose the wrong one. It was way too spicy but Daisy and her friends were so enthusiastic about me visiting Nando's that I pretended that I was fine.. It did taste really good though, but I could not finish it completely.
When we got home I had to pack my bags, which was a really weird thing to do after two weeks and later we watched some more films.

On Friday I traveled back home. It was difficult to say goodbye since they have been so good for me, but once I got home it was very, very, very nice to see my family back again!

Now, a week later, I got used to the dutch school system again and I am still in contact with Daisy via Facebook. Hopefully, she'll visit Holland one day!
